| What Are You :: Appearance |
| Asuka is of average height, with blond, straight hair that falls just past her shoulders, as well as golden-brown eyes. She is somewhat skinny, but her upper body is well-developed and quite feminine. Her favorite outfit is her old school uniform, which consists of a white collared jacket with blue trim over a black shirt, as well as a blue skirt, a pair of long, blue fingerless gloves, and a pair of elegant blue boots. However, when she is involved in a performance, she instead wears a somewhat poofy scarlet dress with a pair of long, white gloves, and she ties her hair back into a long pony tail with a ribbon. It is this second outfit that she is wearing when she is brought to Econtra, underneath a long, brown overcoat. During her stay at Econtra, due to the effects of a wish she helped to make to AU Yuuko in order to save OU Atem's life, she gained a line-like scar on her arm, about an inch and a half in length. It's covered up by long sleeves, but not by short ones. |
| What Are You Like :: Personality |
| Generally, Asuka is very polite, calm and collected. When she was at Duel Academy, although she was in Obelisk Blue, the top dorm in the school, she never looked down on anyone whose status was lower than hers. Ever since becoming a popular singer, she has continued with that frame of mind, preferring to remain a part of the general population rather than elevate herself to being superior to them somehow. Although her past still troubles her, she tries to keep up a strong, cheerful attitude, not letting anyone know that it still bothers her so much. She hates it when people see her cry. Her brother's death, however, has given her a slight depression. She gets nervous rather easily, and whenever the events with her brother are mentioned, she still freaks out a little bit. Usually, this consists of her changing the subject, snapping in an annoyed manner at anyone who continues to bring up the subject, or ignoring the person until they change the subject. It has also taken away a small piece of her sanity; some small portions of her behavior are somewhat like that of a young, inquisitive child, and at random times when she thinks she’s alone, she will sometimes start talking out loud to people that aren’t there at the time. |
| What Can You Do :: Abilities and Strengths |
| She is able to keep a level head in most situations (that don't involve her brother), so she is able to be a bit of a voice of reason when other people are freaking out. She has a beautiful singing voice, as well as a level of skill at memorizing lyrics and tunes quickly. Due in part to her parents' paranoia, she also learned a little bit of hand-to-hand combat, so she can defend herself to a point if necessary. Also, though she never does so any more, she was quite skilled at playing the Duel Monsters card game when she was at Duel Academy, and such skills are not easily lost over time. |
| What Are Your Failings :: Weaknesses |
| She is not all that strong physically, and ever since her brother's death, she has had a significant fear of the dark. Pretty much, without a fairly bright source of light around, she gets nervous to the point where she can hardly function if at all and, in certain circumstances, faints. |
| What Have You Gathered :: Notable Possessions |
| Her most precious possession is the Swing of Memories card that her brother left to her keeping when he died - she keeps it safe within a fold-up mirror. At Econtra, she has most notedly received a small collection of Duel Monsters cards from various sources, as well as a cloth tunic from AU Kuzco, and a ukulele that she requisitioned from the Indigeo. |
